Dr. Karaminder Singh Gajebasia

Karaminder Singh Gajebasia, MRCGP, CCFP, is a family physician and psychiatrist from the United Kingdom.

Karaminder started his academic studies by obtaining a Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine degree from the JJM Medical College in Davangere, Karnataka.

Then, Karaminder applied for Nottingham University in the UK. He got a diploma in Mental Health. Later on, he attended the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom. He studied MRCPsych Paper 1 and 2 at the Royal College.

Karaminder is also a holder of the CCFP certificate. Moreover, he holds a Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

In 2005, Karaminder began working at the Clinical Attachment Psychiatry at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in the United Kingdom. 

In 2006, he took a new job as an SHO in the Psychiatry department in Leicestershire. The job was at the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.

The following year, Karaminder took a new job where he stayed for 3 years. He worked as an associate specialist in Substance Abuse in Leeds PCT, in the United Kingdom.

The same year, Karaminder became an Associate Specialist in Substance Abuse at the Kirklees PCT in the United Kingdom. He provided primary care drug treatment for patients at this job.

In 2009, Karaminder started working and core training in Psychiatry. He worked at the Nottinghamshire NHS Mental Health Care Trust in the United Kingdom.

Karaminder’s career took a turn in 2011 when he took a job as a General Practician Registrar ST3. Part of the job was done as a General Practician trainee at the Ashby Health Center in Leicester, United Kingdom.

He worked in the A&E Department, Trauma and Orthopedics, as well as Psychiatry. From 2015 to 2020, Karaminder worked as a Principal General Practician at the Groby Surgery Leicester.

Karaminder’s goal is to expand his knowledge of psychiatry and advance his career.
